Authentic, handheld, selfie-style content that feels like a real person filmed it on a phone — imperfect framing, natural light, direct-to-camera energy. The goal is credibility, not polish: these prompts deliberately avoid cinematic language.
Prompt Variations
Section titled “Prompt Variations”Veo 3.1’s native dialogue makes it the strongest platform for talking-head UGC — script the exact line in quotes.

Section titled “Tips & Best Practices”- Imperfection is the style: Ask for “slight natural shake,” “small focus hunts,” “no studio lighting” — polish kills the UGC read.
- Script the hook: On audio platforms (Veo, Sora), the first spoken line IS the hook. Write it in quotes, keep it under ~15 words for a 8s clip.
- 9:16 always: Shoot vertical for TikTok/Reels/Shorts; specify it explicitly.
- Cast the creator: Describe age range, style, and energy of the on-camera subject — “a guy in his 30s in a hoodie, deadpan delivery” is a casting note.
- Disclose AI use: Platforms increasingly require labeling synthetic people in ads — keep it in mind for paid placements.
